PhD Student
Yale University, Political Science

Hello! I’m a Ph.D. student in Political Science at Yale University. My research focuses on autocratic politics and the persistence of opposition movements against autocrats in the Middle East. I am also interested in questions of welfare politics and public goods provision.

I’m drawn to approaches that combine qualitative fieldwork, statistical analysis, and formal theory. I’m especially interested in what geospatial data can reveal about patterns in state–society interactions under autocracies.

Before coming to Yale, I earned a B.A. (Honors) in Political Science and Psychology from Beloit College, Wisconsin.

Outside of research, you can usually find me cheering for the Green Bay Packers (Go Pack Go!), going for a run, or traveling.

If you have any questions about my research, pursuing a PhD in political science, or anything else, please feel free to email me.
